About Lost Springs Ranch
Lost Springs Ranch is located in a natural country setting in Hays County
approximately 10 miles west of Wimberley, Texas near the intersection of Valley View Drive and Days End Road. The subdivision is composed of 77 lots on 311 acres. Lost Springs Ranch is in the Comal County School District.
Lost Springs Ranch offers country living but with amenities found in urban areas such as underground utilities, paved roads and a state approved water supply. Property owners enjoy extensive hiking trails, a quiet pond park and a Blanco River park with seating areas situated atop a bluff above the river. In 2005, a swimming pool complex was built, complete with waterfalls, a covered pavilion and fireplace, dressing rooms and a cooking fire pit for the enjoyment of property owners and their guests.
Lost Springs Ranch Water Supply Corp.
LSR WSC provides water to properties in Lost Springs Ranch through a TCEQ approved well
and distribution system. Chlorine levels are checked twice weekly, and a water sample is
submitted to a laboratory monthly to be tested for bacteria presence. The distribution system
consists of 4” to 6” PVC pipe with 2” PVC pipe in the cul-de-sacs. There is approximately 3
miles of piping throughout Lost Springs Ranch. Currently there are 46 water customers.
- Well depth = 440 feet with water level usually 210 feet from the top
- Well Pump = 3 HP pump rated about 33.5 gallons per minute
- Pressure Pumps (2) = 15 HP pump rated about 150 gallons per minute
- Storage tank = 17000-gallon capacity
- Pressure tanks = 2 nine-hundred-gallon tanks which maintain about 55 PSI on the water
system
